The work on the garden area.

Picture
Photo taken by Marianne Smith

During the closed season work has carried on around the green, as you can see by the photos below.

The garden beside the ladies changing room has been totally changed. Plants have been removed and

other plants have been planted.

Mike Bartholomew has built a small rockery with a door to let the rabbits out also various carvings have

been added.

A tree that Mike & Ray removed has now been carved by Mike.

The carving is of a Gnomes face and an Owl.

More pyracantha has been planted to screen off the fence (as per other side of the gents

changing room).

The garden beside the gents changing room has also been worked on.

If you have plants that you can give to the club please contact Marianne or Peggy.

The jack shed has been decorated with wrought iron work made by Mike.

The flower bed along the path leading to the tearoom has also been tidied.

The area at the back of the green has been rotorvated to level off the area.

A compost heap has also been added, you can dispose of your fruit and vegetables.

Reconditioned door added to gents toilet the original door fell apart.

Photos of plants around the green have really shown that the planting by the gardening members has

really been worthwhile and is appreciated by all the club members and visitors.
